AWANA is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekday clubs and programs for 3 year olds through 6th graders.  The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of the phrase, “Approved workmen are not ashamed” (IITimothy 2:15).

The Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."  Realizing that today's children are confronted with more difficult decisions than ever before, AWANA's Bible-based program seeks to establish them on a firm Biblical foundation which will provide direction in their daily lives.  Each clubber is special to us and to God.

Our desire at Huntsburg Baptist AWANA is to be as effective as possible in reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ.  Our prayer is that every child would come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.  Psalm 119:11 says  "Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee."  A child can do this by learning and understanding the Bible verses in their handbook.

Doors open to clubbers at 6:25 pm.  Club starts at 6:30 pm and ends promptly at 8:00 pm.

Our cancellation policy is: If Cardinal schools are closed for the day or dismissed early because of inclement weather, AWANA will be canceled that night.  In the event the weather becomes stormy after school hours, an AWANA cancellation notice will be posted on this web site.
